Those two words, summer colada, go hand in hand. Just the thought of warmer temperatures, backyard barbecues and pool parties pairs so nicely with a signature cocktail, be it the adult version or a knock off for the kids. Here at True, we can help you get all of your frosty ingredients ready: the ice, the fresh but frozen fruit chunks, the perfectly chilled creamy alcohol blends and basically a little bit of this and a little bit of that. If you want to be a trendsetter, push aside the plastics and disposables for the guests. True, they won’t break in the pool and they’ll float to the top if need be. But we say grab a few mini floaties for your cocktails and let us introduce you to Fred’s Rainbow Party Cup.

RainbowPartyCup

You’ll be surprised how many guests will ask whether the cold temperature makes it change colors (no it doesn’t) and how long does it keep drinks cool (a long time- it’s steel). The party cup is by Fred, and it also comes in copper and gold.

Now here’s that colada recipe that’s going to tempt your tastebuds and make you say “yes please” to just the mere thought of a signature cocktail ready to serve all summer long:

Fred’s Cumulus Colada

In a blender, mix together 3/4 cups of ice, 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple, 1 oz. pineapple juice, 1 oz. coconut cream, 1 oz. white rum and 1 oz. dark rum. Blend until smooth and frost. Pour into your Rainbow Party Cup and garnish with a pineapple slice. Now all you have to do is sip and relax!
