ST. LOUIS, Sept. 20, 2016—True® Refrigeration—the leading choice of top chefs, hotels, beverage providers and discriminating homeowners for more than 70 years—unveils the True Experience Showroom at the company’s global headquarters in O’Fallon, Missouri, providing a new venue to showcase the distinctive, handcrafted elegance of its products.
“We needed the showroom to be both functional and inspirational, while showcasing how True refrigerators are integrated into all types of styles from traditional to transitional to very modern,” said True Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Proctor. “The True Experience Showroom highlights how True’s products are used by designers, architects and homeowners to enhance indoor and outdoor kitchens and entertaining areas.”
The layout of the space was carefully designed to showcase a variety of design concepts; host tours for dealers and designers; accommodate VIP customer walkthroughs; and allow for custom photography and educational events. The 3,000-square-foot showroom was divided by creating a functional meeting space in the center and surrounding it with five vignettes representing different concepts and styles: traditional kitchen, modern kitchen, micro kitchen, outdoor kitchen and an elaborate wine room.
The traditional space is thought of as a large family kitchen with multiple commercially inspired workspaces and dedicated functional zones. This includes a massive working island with integrated seating, a dedicated four-piece bar, and dual side-by-side refrigerators for plenty of food storage.
The showroom’s modern, loft-style chef’s kitchen features an open, restaurant-influenced space including a waterfall soapstone island, a stainless backsplash, polished concrete floors and a live-edge American elm table—topped off with a home cocktail bar featuring a Clear Ice Machine and Beverage Center for entertaining.
True’s outdoor vignette establishes how its UL-rated outdoor refrigerators can be integrated into an outdoor entertaining space and hold up in any environment, weathering saltwater and beach exposure in coastal locations. For smaller kitchens where space is a premium, True’s micro kitchen features fully integrated appliances and a small wet bar area in a modern setting.
The last vignette is True’s modern take on a wine storage and tasting room to host large groups. A 540-bottle wine wall and separate wet bar flank an impressive live-edge table with seating for 12, doubling as an area to entertain clients.
