We truly love color in the kitchen, but we are equally captivated by the power of a white finish. From rustic, to modern, and even traditional designs, the flexibility one gets from employing shades of white, showcases just how adaptable most colors can be. And as winter whites start to ramp up, these are some of our favorite kitchens to take inspiration from.

The New England charm showcased in this Jamestown, Rhode Island kitchen is indisputable. Part of a months-long restoration by This Old House TV,  the kitchen was a major point of design. Originally lacking in space and natural light, the design team did a fantastic job of transforming it into a spacious room with a clean-lined, modern appeal. The contrasting nature of wood, white oak, and our Matte White and Chrome 42” Refrigerator creates a bright and airy vibe that encourages frequent gatherings.

This eye-catching kitchen, located in a resort community in Charleston, South Carolina, offers a slightly more modern appeal than the previous kitchen. With the use of warm, light maple wood, soft black hues, mixed metals, and clean-lined elements, the kitchen wows. Created as an open space to entertain both family and friends, our Matte White and Pewter 48” Refrigerator helps to break things up—the glass door offers a stopping point amidst all the white that complements the gorgeous, black metal-and-glass wine room. A diagonal shiplap wood roof painted in a dark, rich hue creates a beautiful sense of warmth and balance.

In this stunning, Mid-century Modern-style kitchen in St. Louis, Missouri, designer Rochelle Mcavin used color to lay out the design, including incorporating dark green cabinetry contrasted with gorgeous walnut cabinetry and limestone countertops. A graphic wallpaper adjacent to the kitchen adds to the allure. The “pop of color” then unexpectedly becomes our 30” Refrigerator—given the surroundings, our unit, shown in Matte White with Brass hardware—becomes a major focal point complemented by the globe-like pendant lights over the kitchen island.
