Veggies

The after school snack- kids want it to be fast, filling and fun. Whether it’s a quick piece of fruit, yogurt tube or stick of cheese, it has to be within arms reach so hunger is satisfied! Now that you have the basics covered, we have some quick and easy recommendations for grab and go snacks for all ages!

Ants On A Log: Spread peanut butter along cut up celery chunks and then line them with raisins. Store in small containers that can be stacked.

Veggie Shooters: Cut carrot, celery and peppers into sticks and then arrange them vertically in a plastic cup lined with ranch dip

Parfait Cups: Layer plastic cups with any flavor yogurt or Greek yogurt, berries, and granola, and then drizzle with agave nectar.

Funfetti: Make a colorfully appealing mix of munchies including cheddar cheese cubes, dried cranberries and pistachios (we love them chilled!) and store them in a Ziploc bag.

Energy Bites: Combine peanut butter, oats and honey, form a ball and chill for a light and tasty bite of energy! Stack these in 2-ounce dressing cups for easy access.

Add those to your usual snack list of groceries like fresh produce, applesauce and hummus and store neatly in the 15″ True Glass Door Refrigerator. You’ll even have space still for small juice boxes, bottled water and anything else your family fancies!
