The new full-size residential refrigerator is inspired by True’s top-of-the-line commercial models that have been the leading choice for top chefs and luxury hotels for more than 70 years. The True 42 features the same style and performance upon which the company built its global reputation, now refined for the home.

Backed by 70 years of experience, the True 42 is the company’s first foray into the full-size residential refrigerator market, and it redefines luxury in its category. Everything about the True 42’s design feels solid, well thought out and of the highest quality. Its clean, modern, commercially inspired stainless steel exterior features ergonomically designed tubular handles that are comfortably sized. The industrial-grade door hinges are beautifully crafted, and rated for extreme tolerance by passing True’s rigorous one million door openings test. The doors themselves, though easy to open, feel substantial and shut with a quietly satisfying soft-close action.
The inside, though, is where the years of obsession over design and quality become even more apparent. The biggest difference, the True 42 features stainless steel throughout the interior, ensuring a hygienic, antibacterial and easy-to-clean surface that never holds on to potential odors.
In addition, the side-by-side refrigerator boasts a more sophisticated version of the company’s famed True Precision™ temperature control with a sleek LCD readout. The refrigerator side features four steel-encapsulated adjustable glass shelves above three industry exclusive stainless steel bins featuring soft-close action. The freezer offers similar styling and functionality with four polished stainless steel shelves and three stainless steel basket drawers.
