The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is the largest North American platform devoted to kitchen and bath industry design. This year marked the 51st annual show with an estimated five percent growth in attendance from 2014. Estimates show that more than 125,000 designers, builders, dealers, and suppliers were scheduled to attend this year’s event, along with more than 300 members of the media.
The show started bright and early on Tuesday, January 20 and traffic remained high throughout the entire show. We were pleased with the crowd of designers, builders, and dealers that came through our new True booth and even more pleased with their positive feedback.
The 2015 show was a year of firsts for True, as we unveiled two new products at the show: The True 42, our first full-size residential refrigerator, and the True Clear Ice machine. These products caught the eye of show attendees and media professionals. Editors at Custom Home featured the True 42 as a high-end appliance that shined at the show.
We also showed visitors the “True” experience with our new tradeshow booth. Six unique spaces were designed and built out to help visitors experience True products firsthand. Two full kitchens- one traditional and one modern, an outdoor living space, a Euro-style kitchen, a wine wall, and a gallery space all combined to show, rather than tell, how True refrigerators can be incorporated into our favorite places in the home with any style of design.
