Earlier this year, professionals from various sectors of the plumbing industry gathered at the iconic Windsor Castle in the UK for a pivotal water summit. Hosted by the NKBA Global Connect Strategic Alliance Partner in collaboration with the UK Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA), the event focused on critical discussions surrounding the escalating global water scarcity crisis.

Alongside ongoing discussions about the growing water scarcity crisis and the critical role the K&B industry must play in driving meaningful solutions, all participants signed a pledge to collectively invest in innovative technologies aimed at addressing this issue. The overarching goal is not just to reduce water waste and provide clean water, but to conserve billions of gallons annually through actionable, impactful change.

At True, we share this commitment to conservation. Even though we weren’t part of the summit, we’ve been dedicated to reducing waste from the very beginning.  Even though our Clear Ice Machine was already the most efficient on the market in 2022, we didn’t stop there. We pushed ourselves further to enhance its performance. Our newly upgraded indoor/outdoor undercounter Clear Ice Machine now features a generous 28lb bin capacity, producing an industry-leading 85lbs of ice per day. What’s more, it boasts a 30% increase in energy efficiency and a 16% reduction in water usage compared to its predecessor.

As an American-made company, True is committed to streamlining production and maximizing efficiency. We utilize closed-loop water systems to conserve water, alongside a range of other sustainable initiatives. The Clear Ice Machine embodies our commitment to conservation—not only through its sleek, customizable design, available in any of True’s bespoke finishes and hardware options, but also as the most efficient and eco-friendly model on the market.
