On day one of the 2019 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) we realized this year was already gearing up to be the most successful one yet. To give a little perspective, each year this 50-plus-year industry event brings together over 600 exhibiting companies, 13,000 qualified attendees, and 400 media outlets… and it just keeps growing. It is the perfect place to generate buzz, build your sales pipeline, establish brand identity, and gain invaluable insight. And let’s not forget KBIS’ attendees buying power—it’s unparalleled in the industry.

But all that aside, we are proud to have once again been part of a show that aims to support the industry with programming, including CEUs, that are designed to educate, inspire, and connect members. We were even lucky enough to be singled out and mentioned by Interior Design’s editor in chief Cindy Allen in her role as KBIS 2019’s keynote speaker. She led an engaging panel discussion that touched on key trends, and highlighted our new unveil in her trend presentation “Color My World!” This lively part of the address focused on the use of vibrant color to brighten up residential spaces, and more specifically, in the kitchen. We were thrilled!

KBISNeXT Stage tackled topics such as women in design, sustainability, small living, new ideas, and technology in the industry. This year, our brand ambassador, interior designer and celebrity personality, Vanessa Deleon, spoke on the “Beyond the Trends: Color is Relative” panel moderated by color expert, Maria Killam. The discussion explored the “emotional impact of color, the importance of color trends, and why color is relative to everything that surrounds it.” In addition, the panel discussed ways to incorporate and manipulate color in kitchens and baths. Which brings us to our aptly timed huge unveil: our new hue! Did you guess the color? It appears we are once again on trend.

Emerald

Emerald, a rich verdant color that is said to promote wellbeing, balance, and harmony, officially joined our Build Your True Program of custom finishes and hardware at KBIS. Not only does it look fantastic but it just happens to play well with our current repertoire of offerings. With the addition of this vibrant hue, as well as a new ultra matte black finish we debuted, designers and homeowners can now choose from 49 unique combinations of custom finishes and hardware in both full-size and undercounter units. And that’s not all… besides our undercounter units debuting in the Build Your True program, we also introduced a 36” Freezer and 36" Refrigerator at the show which will be ready to ship this summer. When it comes to design, you can never have too many options—and considering kitchen appliances are usually overlooked when it comes to customization, we are determined to turn that notion on its head. We believe in offering unparalleled style and design flexibility combined with exceptional performance backed by our commercial DNA. As a family-owned-and-run American-born and American-made company—we design and build everything in house with meticulous attention to detail. After all, we design to turn any ordinary kitchen into an extraordinary kitchen—suited to your style of course.
