Can you tell us about Albert Lee as a family owned, independent dealer?
In 1939, Albert Lee opened Albert Lee Furniture, a quality, custom furniture store. After the war and a 2nd story refrigerator delivery fiasco for a friend, Albert Lee Furniture became Albert Lee Furniture and Appliances. 75 years later, Albert Lee Appliance, a three-generation, family-owned business continues to grow and serve the Pacific Northwest communities and we're proud to be a thriving member of our local business community. We sponsor a number of local charitable organizations and events including, but not limited to, Children’s Hospital, Seattle Children’s Home, Detlef Schrempf Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Tacoma Rainiers Minor League Baseball Organization and the Seattle Storm, WNBA Basketball Organization. We are also the title sponsor of Seafair – Seattle’s traditional summer festival.
You’ve grown to multiple locations across Seattle, what’s the secret to your success?
Our customers are our first priority – we offer them extensive appliance knowledge with our sales team averaging over 16 years’ experience in the appliance industry. We have the largest selection of appliances in Washington State with over 50 brands to choose from and we continue to offer dependable and reliable service. We make a commitment to our community – we have been in business for 75 years because we are PART of our community and do our part to give back to those who have contributed to where we are today.
What do you want your customers to think about when choosing appliances?
Quality, Service and Price! At Albert Lee we offer all three. Great quality products like True; Customer service before, during and after the sale, and the best value for our customers money!
What are your customers most concerned about when purchasing from you?
Customer Service – Our customers want to be sure that we will take care of them throughout the entire sales process. From the moment they walk through the door until the come back to buy their replacement unit, they want to be treated exceptionally well!
You (and your customers) have been big supporters of True products, Why?
True has been a great fit for Albert Lee and our customers. They offer great, reliable products at an outstanding value. The True name is synonymous with Quality and lives up to Albert Lee’s and our customers’ expectations. We have seen very little service incidents and the product preforms at a commercial level that our customers value.
